The Korea Drone Expo 2024 was held from May 9 to May 11, 2024 in Songdo, South Korea. The Korea Drone Expo 2024, now in its fifth year, was organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of the Republic of Korea and was held in conjunction with the International Drone Soccer Festa 2024.



In addition to various drones, drone soccer teams from various countries participated in the tournament, attracting global attention.

Drone soccer is a new sport that started in South Korea in 2016. It is a sport that uses drone balls to play 5-on-5 and score goals against the opponent, and it has become popular not only in Korea but also in various countries such as the United States, Germany, Hungary, and Japan.

Helsel, one of the oldest drone soccer ball manufacturers in Korea, introduced the Skyball series, a drone ball that can be used for drone sports, at the exhibition.

In addition to the most well-known drone soccer, various drone sports are emerging, including drone basketball. Helsel has built a lineup of Skyballs in various sizes to meet the needs of these drone sports.

STRIKER is a 40-centimeter drone ball that is used in traditional drone soccer.

Helsel created STRIKER at the birth of drone soccer and continues to upgrade it to this day.

TIKE is a 22-centimeter drone soccer drone ball for youth, mainly used in the United States and Europe.

It uses brushless motors to deliver powerful performance, but its small size makes it easy for kids to get started. TIKE is an upgraded version of the Dronepang F2ST, previously sold by helsel.

BALKIN is a 20cm drone ball with brushed motors. It is a good drone for beginners to start playing drone sports such as drone soccer and drone basketball. In Korea, it is often used for after-school drone education for children and is designated as the official drone ball for drone basketball competitions.
